Out West Today

The Out West Basketball Association was formed to provide a focused and specialized opportunity for female athletes to receive top-quality basketball and life skills development from U11, U13, U15 & U17 up to and possibly including open divisions. The Out West program was founded on the belief that female athletes deserve a specialized approach to their basketball development.

The program strives to build self-esteem and confidence through positive team building and proven coaching techniques unique to young women in basketball. Out West is not a recreational program but one that specializes in the development of elite athletes. Out West is looking for female athletes that have the potential and desire to achieve excellence in basketball and in all endeavours.

Out West limits the number of teams in its program to ensure the best quality coaching and player development. Selected athletes will become part of an intensive basketball training and developmental program that builds strong bodies and self-confidence. Successful athletes require focus and dedication to their respective training programs to take their game to the next level. Hard work and great effort set the stage for great rewards! Out West supports and encourages participation in the Alberta provincial program.
