The Calgary Out West Association sponsors and manages one of the most
successful women's basketball development programs in Canada. The
spring and summer Out West Program is based in Calgary Alberta which
has become a hotbed of Canadian women's basketball over the past
several years. Calgary is home to more basketball clubs per capita than
any other major Canadian city. The Out West Program offers development opportunities to young women from U13 to professional players. Out West players have gone on to play on NCAA, Canadian University, and College teams, Canadian National Program and on professional teams in Europe.. The Out West Coaching Team has a track record of successfully developing female athletes and the results speak for themselves. Out West is the number one club in Canada for recruitment of its players to post secondary programs in Canada and the U.S. and recruitment to European professional teams. The Out West Association invites interaction with clubs and organizations in other jurisdictions. |
